Autism Speaks Forms Family Services Committee
At its June 13th quarterly meeting Autism Speaks' Board of Directors formed a Family Services Committee. The role of the Committee will be to advise the foundation regarding its role on matters not being addressed through Autism Speaks' current efforts in research and awareness. Areas to be pursued include education, litigation, treatments, insurance and medical care. Board Member Lilly Tartikoff will serve as Chair and will be joined on the Family Services Committee by fellow Board Members Dr. Emanuel DiCicco-Bloom, Andrew Conrad, Brian Kelly, and Gary Mayerson. Also serving on the Committee will be Dr. Susan Hyman, who serves on Autism Speaks Scientific Affairs Committee.
