Autism Speaks 400 Presented by Visa
Dover International Speedway has announced the June 3, 2007 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race will be the “Autism Speaks 400 presented by Visa.” This is the first time a NASCAR race has borne the name of a not-for-profit organization. Autism Speaks will benefit not only from increased awareness and
and exposure to NASCAR fans, but also with many fundraising opportunities thanks to Dover Speedway and Visa.

As part of the Autism Speaks 400 presented by Visa, Dover Speedway donated an Honorary Starter package to be auctioned off on the NASCAR site. The Galli family, from Washington, DC placed the top bid to win this very exciting experiential prize. Joe and Shelly Galli are longtime supporters of Autism Speaks, having participated in walks with NAAR in the early 2000s. In addition, Shelly was the chair of Cure Autism Now's DC Walk Now for Autism. The Gallis have three children and will be attending this weekend's race, meeting the competitors and enjoying behind the scene tours.

Dover International Speedway will donate $5 to Autism Speaks from each ticket purchased by June 1, 2007 with a Visa card for the June 3 "Autism Speaks 400 presented by Visa" race.

As a special thank you from Dover and Dodge Motorsports, anyone making a donation of over $25 to Autism Speaks via this link will receive a commemorative race pin. Donors giving over $150 will receive a limited edition commemorative 1/24 scale die cast car.
