Discovery Health presents an intimate view of life with multiple children with autism inAutism x6,” an hour-long special profiling the everyday life of John and Robin Kirton, parents to six children with autism. Caring for the children's special needs requires round-the-clock supervision -and“Autism x6” offers a glimpse of John and Robin's daily struggle to maintain order in the midst of chaos, where the household can spin out of control the moment they turn their backs.

During Autism Awareness Month, Discovery Health will serve as one of Autism Speaks' media partners. In addition to the television specials, elements of the partnership will include on-air mentions of Autism Speaks' efforts on Discovery Health Channel, as well as Autism Speaks' Ad Council public service announcements running on-air and online at DiscoveryHealth.com. DiscoveryHealth.com will provide visitors with an array of information on autism as well as tips, expert advice and access to community boards. Discovery Health will also include information on Autism Awareness Month and Autism Speaks Walk Now For Autism events in the network's newsletters and online throughout the month of April.
