Family Services Community Grant Recipient, University of Arizona, Launch Program for Students with Autism
On June 30, Chapel Haven, a 2007 Autism Speaks Community Grant recipient, opened Chapel Haven West, a two-year residential program for young adults with autism spectrum disorder, in partnership with the University of Arizona. Chapel Haven West is a branch of Connecticut-based Chapel Haven Inc., the country's only combined state-accredited special education and independent living facility for adults with cognitive disabilities.
