Twisted Sister Holiday CD Benefits CAN
It's beginning to look a lot like…"A Twisted Christmas"! Rock legends Twisted Sister have released a holiday CD in partnership with VH1 Classic and a portion of proceeds will be donated to Cure Autism Now. The band is currently on tour with dates through Dec. 23 and will appear on “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” on Dec. 13 and on “The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on Dec. 22.
"A Twisted Christmas" features rock versions of beloved Christmas classics, including "Oh Come All Ye Faithful," "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," and "Deck the Halls." A half-hour music special about the album, “Hangin' With: Twisted Sister,” will premiere on VH1 Classic this Saturday, Dec. 9 at 12:30 p.m. EST. Band members discuss how they coaxed Lita Ford out of retirement to duet on “I'll Be Home For Christmas” and how their biggest hit, "We're Not Gonna Take It" was actually inspired by “Oh Come All Ye Faithful”.

Formed in 1976, Twisted Sister achieved national notoriety on rock radio and MTV in the 1980s with such hits as “We're Not Gonna Take It” and “I Wanna Rock”. The band continues to inspire the rock n' roll spirit in all of us and is pleased to contribute to Cure Autism Now's efforts to improve the quality of life for those affected by autism through this special holiday project, "A Twisted Christmas".

Twisted Sister is on tour now, with dates in Chicago (Dec. 7 at House Of Blues); Melbourne, FL (Dec. 9 at the Melbourne Auditorium); Los Angeles (Dec. 12 at House Of Blues); Anaheim (Dec. 14 at House Of Blues); Orlando (Dec. 17 at Hard Rock); Baltimore (Dec. 21 at Rams Head Live); Sayreville, NJ (Dec. 22 at Starland Ballroom); and Atlantic City (Dec. 23 at House Of Blues).
