Bloomingdale's and Joanna Team Up to Support Autism Speaks
Back-to-School Campaign Features In-Store Appearances, Window Displays
Bloomingdale's and Geffen recording artist Joanna are teaming up in a back-to-school push in support of Autism Speaks. The 19-year old singer, whose debut album hits the airwaves August 15, 2006, is featured in the flagship store's Lexington Avenue windows as part of its upcoming back-to-school fashion campaign. On September 9, Joanna will make in-store appearances at both the 59th Street location and at the Roosevelt Field store. Autism Speaks will receive 10% the proceeds from all sales at the B-Kids departments at the respective stores that day.

Joanna's personal relationship with several families affected by autism led her to join Autism Speaks awareness campaign, hoping to reach out to teens, young adults and mothers, in the drive for more understanding, sensitivity, funding and research.
