Mexico Conference Outlines Opportunities, Challenges
|

Autism Speaks to the World, an international congress organized to promote awareness, treatment services, and autism research throughout Mexico and the world, took place July 5 - 7 in Mexico City. More than a thousand scientists, clinicians, and members of the public gathered for three days of presentations which emphasized the challenges and opportunities ahead. Read more. Potomac Race/Walk is Largest Yet
|

More than 2,000 people began their Fourth of July at Potomac Village in Maryland for the seventh annual Cure Autism Now/Autism Speaks 5k race/1k walk. Read more. On Sunday, July 22, the inaugural Ride Now DC comes to the Washington area. The Ride Now program, started in Chicago five years ago, unites motorcycle enthusiasts for a day of awareness, fundraising and celebration. While Congress will soon go into recess for the summer, Autism Speaks' advocacy team is busily preparing for the second half of the 2007 legislative session.
