Remembering to think of each student as an individual is critical to success in providing appropriate support and growth. An understanding of the characteristics of autism and strategies that have proven successful is critical to providing an appropriate mindset and framework, but application across the widely varying students and settings will require an individualized approach.

This section will provide information about working as a team and supporting a student with autism in the school environment. Topics will include:
