Roses for Autism is an agricultural-based, pre-vocational and vocational training program designed for individuals with autism spectrum disorders or ASD. Through assessments and on-the-job training, individuals with ASD are provided with the opportunity to learn skills within a working greenhouse. Roses for Autism has two components: 1) Vocational training for adults with autism spectrum disorders; and 2) Pre-vocational training for individuals ages 16 and older and in their transition years. Roses for Autism addresses education; workplace mentoring; human services; and economic opportunity.
