Walk in Michigan Huge Success!

More than 2,000 attendees participated in the 7th Michigan Walk Now for Autism Speaks Walk on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Meadow Brook Music Festival. The event was filled with lots of fun and activities in including White Castle Sliders, Rain Forest Café Volcano Sundae Bars, Music provided by Music with Ms. Carissa, inflatables from Pump It Up, and much more. We were joined by Jim Madaus from CBS62/CW50, Anthony Ianni, Alex Hale, and Rick Mahorn, from the Detroit Pistons.

To date, the event raised more than $150,000 in support of Autism Speaks’ mission to fund research, increase awareness and family services and advocate for individuals with autism and their families. We truly appreciate the support of our vendors, sponsors, and resource fair participants. The day wouldn’t have been complete without our wonderful walkers, teams, and families.
