On August 4, 2008, Autism Speaks and Bank of America announced an expanded partnership that will give consumers a new way to support autism advocacy and research.
Under the new agreement, the two organizations will offer an Autism Speaks Visa® credit card and personal checking account at more than 6,100 Bank of America banking centers and on the Autism Speaks Web site. In addition, CDs and IRAs will be offered at special rates. Bank of America will make a donation to Autism Speaks for every personal checking account and credit card account that is opened as part of the program. In addition, Autism Speaks will receive a further donation for every check card and credit card transaction.
