Over 11,000 individuals came out on a beautiful, sunny day in the City of Pittsburgh, PA to participate in the 15th Annual Pittsburgh Walk Now for Autism Speaks at Heinz Field on Saturday, June 14th.

The Walk, co-chaired by Ellen Cicconi, Kevin Daly and Mark Wallace, raised over $625,000 with donations still arriving.  Our teams displayed incredible team spirit through their cheers, signing,

An estimated 2,000 walkers participated in the 13th annual Iowa Walk Now for Autism Speaks on Saturday, June 14th at the Iowa Cubs Stadium in Des Moines. The weather was warm, sunny and beautiful as nearly 100 walk teams gathered to enjoy entertainment courtesy of the Central Iowa Blues Society and food and refreshments donated by Panera Bread, Hy-Vee, Casey’s General Stores, Sodexo, and Blue Bunny.

More than 1,500 participants came out in support of the 9th Annual Laurel Highlands Walk Now for Autism Speaks annual event. This year’s Walk was once again held at Idlewild Park and Story Book Forest in Ligonier, Penn. Participants enjoyed a sunshine filled day with food, fun and entertainment

The Northern New Jersey Walk Now for Autism Speaks at MetLife Stadium was amazing. More than 7,500 attended and many families enjoyed amazing entertainment from local dance troupe The Vibe, the Bergen County High School Jazz band, and a guest appearance from Steve Weatherford of the NY Giants. Pat Battle from NBC News and Jodi DiPiazza lead our countdown to the walk.

The event raise more than $363,106 in support of Autism Speaks mission to fund research, increase awareness and family services and advocate for individuals with autism and their families.

The 10th Annual Georgia Walk Now for Autism Speaks in Partnership with the Marcus Autism Center saw close to 10,000 participants despite the cold wet weather. More than 20,000 people took part in the Chicago Walk at Soldier Field on Saturday, May 17, raising more than $1,019,943 and counting for Autism Speaks

Mayor Rahm Emanuel joined the Chicago Walk for the first time this year. The Mayor  welcomed the crowd from the main stage during opening ceremonies, expressing to the families that we are all in this together. Eric Chern, husband to Chicagoland Board of Directosr Vice Chair Laurie Chern, worked to get the Mayor to commit to attend this year and we couldn't have accomplished this without him. It was a treat for the families

Approximately 400 participants came out on Saturday, May 17, in support of the Ten Year Celebration of the Wheeling/Ohio Valley Walk Now for Autism Speaks event. This year’s walk was once again held on Warwood Trail at Warwood School in Wheeling, W.V. Participants enjoyed the day with food, fun and entertainment! We were fortunate enough to miss the rain and even saw a bit of sun!
