Over 13,000 individuals came out on a beautiful, hot, sunny day in the city of Pittsburgh, PA to participate in the 13th Annual Pittsburgh Walk Now for Autism Speaks at Heinz Field on Saturday, June 9th.
The Walk, co-chaired by Ellen Cicconi and Candi Cybator, raised over $750,000 with donations still arriving. Our teams displayed incredible team spirit through their cheers, signing, and incredible signs dedicated to supporting their loved ones with autism. Participants walked through the streets of Pittsburgh and celebrated after the event with food donations sponsored by Quaker Oats, PepsiCo, Baughman, Eat n Park, Daily’s Juice, Frito Lay, Fed Ex, Doubletree Downtown, Giant Eagle, and McDonald’s.
THANK YOU to all of the service providers and amazing sponsors that helped to make the Pittsburgh Walk possible. The Community Resource Fair featured 39 service providers focused on helping families affected by autism.
