2012 Bay Area Walk Now for Autism Speaks Recap

Saturday, May 19th was the 10th Anniversary of the Bay Area Walk Now for Autism Speaks held at History Park in the City of San Jose. It was a beautiful day that brought together over 7,000 people to celebrate the autism community and to get information about Autism from over 40 Resources and Service Providers.
Huge thanks to our Bay Area Committee for all of their hard work and dedication over the past year to produce an incredible event. We are all so grateful for your time, talent, and commitment to the autism community!
Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to our wonderful Corporate Sponsors who made this Walk possible by donating money and In-Kind many of them also formed teams. They are Rothstein Kass, Trumpet Behavioral Health, Wells Fargo,Rosendin Electric, Amazing Packaging Supply, Associated Learning & Language Specialists, Star One Credit Union, Pete’s Brass Rail, TPC Stonebrae, Pepsi for all of the water and soft drinks, La Boulange for the pastries in our Grand Club, Togo’s for our sandwiches in Team Village, Extreme Pizza for our pizza’s in Team Village, A&B Produce for the apples and bananas for our walkers, and Starbucks for their breakfast bars for all of our walkers.
Most of all we thank our families for coming out to support and Walk Now for Autism Speaks and that someone you love and care about! Through your efforts by fundraising and reaching out we were able to raise over $450,000 dollars for our families here in the Bay Area.
