Tune In for 'The Dr. Radio Show' on Sirius and XM

Join our very own Dr. Geraldine Dawson, Karen Hopkins, a developmental pediatrician at NYU and Dr. Diana Robins of Georgia State who focuses on early screening of autism spectrum disorders. Currently, her two main areas of research are further improvement of screening for autism in the primary care setting using the M-CHAT, and study of the neurobiological mechanisms underlying social cognition, using functional neuroimaging.

The show will feature information new research on screening and early brain development of infants at risk for autism. We'll also talk about the recent findings of the increased rates of diagnosis for children - what it means and how the new diagnostic criteria for autism could impact prevalence rates.
