Toys"R"Us, long time partner of Autism Speaks, publishes two toy guides for parents, Toys"R"Us Guide Toy for Differently-Abled Kids and Ten Toys That Speak To Autism.
The Toys"R"Us Toy Guide for Differently-Abled Kids has been published for nearly two decades and contains specially selected toys for children with special needs. The recommendations are provided by the National Lekotek Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to making play accessible to children of all abilities.
Toys"R"Us worked with Autism Speaks to identify the Ten Toys That Speak To Autism, a special subset of the Toys"R"Us Toy Guide for Differently-Abled Kids. Items featured on the list can help build various skills to aid in the development of children with autism.
