Senate Approves HB.771 Unanimously, Bill Heads to Governor Jindal

BATON ROUGE (May 15, 2012) -- The Senate unanimously approved HB.771, the autism insurance reform bill, which now heads to Governor Bobby Jindal for his signature. Sponosred by Rep. Franklin Foil (R-Baton Rouge), the bill expands the 2008 law signed by Jindal by raising the age cap from 16 to 21 and eliminating a $144,000 cap on lifetime benefits.
